The visitors centre is located in the former customs house at the end of Čížov village, next to the most popular tourist route to Austria and is approximately 6 km from Vranov nad Dyjí. The remnants of the “Iron Curtain” can be seen next to the visitors’ centre, as the only place in south Moravia where such a memorial can be found.

  • Sale of postcards and informative materials.
  • Permanent exhibition about the nature of Podyjí.
  • Lecture room with the possibility to show films.

If you want to visit the information centre outside of normal opening hours, please call us on the telephone number above and we will do our best to organise it for you.

During the tourist season visitors can also use the Podyjí NP Administration´s Information Point at the Vranov Chateau. The Vranov nad Dyjí State Chateau has provided us with the gallery space on the courtyard (opposite the ticket office) for this purpose. The exhibition Colours and shapes of Mother Earth can be seen in the gallery this year. Entry is free.
